![]() ![]() If my non triangle looks good enough for you.I could upload it for you as well. A vector based editor or converting to vector would be best. Photoshop and non-vector image editors can create jagged edges that will be easy to see the more you increase the size of the Step. But a repair install will install the original pdf to the program. You can save the original pdf to another folder if you want. With SnagIt 12 you’ll find that folder in the C x86 program files. It’s located in the Step Folder in those program files. I’m going to use it for a while.Īnyway, you’ve got to name the new PDF exactly the same as one of the Step PDF images in SnagIt 12’s Program files. Especially if you rotate it and add a shadow. Not exactly a Triangle, but has a depth perception look about it. I cleaned up the image further by converting it to a vector image in Adobe Illustrator. That way the editor can fill in any color correctly. I made a couple already and wasn’t sure what I wanted next. But your triangle inspired me to create this one. ![]() So Steps will never look as good as SnagIt 12’s can. SnagIt 2019 doesn’t have the Glassy effect. Numbers stray outside the boundaries of the shape. You see, you need a fairly round/bulbous design to contain the numbers or letters. But I thought I would create one anyway, see where it landed. ![]() If the original image is larger than the image area, some of the original image may not be visible. ![]() And positioned outside of the steps area? No logic to that what so ever? The PDF opened in Photoshop correctly.Īnyway, I already knew a triangle was the wrong design from past experience. Select an Image Scale option to set how Snagit scales images added to the image areas in the template: Fill entire drop zone: Snagit scales the image to fill the entire image area. I created the triangle and saved it to PDF.I got a Step that was actually a Square as far as SnagIt was concerned. The file it created wouldn’t work at all. I tried creating it in SnagIt 2019 first. 175 pixels’ x 175 pixels at 300 dots per inch. Other than volume could be louder, when it works its awesome. You want to start with a Square image. Hope its that simple? Fluke or science, i am yet to prove. Cracked it just now so thought I would post and see if anyone else has same issue and result? What i think I may have done was:Ī) plug in my headset connectors into the jacks - FIRSTī) Then. I really gave up.īut on two occasions I fluked it. Also tried AVS Video Editor "screen capture" function, but the voice got way out of sync with video by a ridiculous amount - a full topic apart. I gave up for months and just lived without the luxury and did silent captures.Even reboots did not work. Drives me nuts trying fixes, even climbing under my desk to try rear jacks. Rarely do I need that but every time I try the "Record Microphone" function, the on/off button always says " no microphone plugged into this PC". Note: Crop and other tools in the Snagit Editor toolbar are available to edit images. Use the Crop tool to to improve framing, draw a viewer’s eye to the image subject, or change the size or aspect ratio of an image. The one bugbear is the MICROPHONE has a mind of its own if doing a video presentation where i want to capture screen contents and do a voice over commentary. Crop Tool Trim the outside edges of an image to remove unwanted content. Firstly, I love snagit for screenshots and editing. ![]()
